Bi-Monthly Meetings
All meetings are held at Hest Bank Memorial Hall, Slyne-with-Hest, near Lancaster on the 2nd Tuesday of each alternate month and begin at 7.30p.m.
Most meetings comprise a short, general meeting followed by a speaker. There is also time for tea/coffee & biscuit plus a social chat.
Non-members are very welcome but we hope you enjoy yourself so much that you will wish to join NLBS!

Saturday 24 April 2010 – Midfield Dressage, Gaisgill nr. Tebay.
Classes for Introductory (walk & trot only), Preliminary & Novice tests.
Between classes 2 and 3 will be a display of the gaits of Icelandic horses.
If you have never tried Dressage before then this is your opportunity to try it in small classes in a friendly and informal environment. CRC Dressage is slightly different to British Dressage so please enquire if you want further details. Entries are limited so please book as soon as possible to reserve your place. Sunday 25 April 2010 - NLBS Annual Fund Raising Ride - Warton, Nr Carnforth
15 mile (approx) route over bridleways and quiet lanes near Carnforth, Lancs. Entry fee £15 or £20 on the day. Starts after 10am and before 11am. Snacks and refreshments available on site.

Sunday 9 May 2010 – Cartmel Ride organized by Cumbria Bridleways Society
13 miles with shorter route (approx. 8 miles) available. Parking on Cartmel racecourse village car park (£1 for 4 hours, £2 all day). £15 entry fee (£20 on the day). Starts between 10.00am to 11.00am

A friendly gathering to celebrate Cumbria 's bridleways, byways and use of horses past and present.
Children get in free, Adults cost £6.00 including entry into Dalemain Gardens .

Saturday 3 July 2010 - Annual Charity Horse Ride to raise funds for pupils going to Lourdes Ride
at Cardinal Allen High School , FLEETWOOD
The ride will consist of approx 1 mile of road, a couple of miles of bridleway and the rest is along the beach towards Blackpool (approx 25km). Shorter route available. Entry fee £15 per rider. Free refreshments to all riders. Start time 9-10am……NO LATER!!!! Rosettes to all those who complete the ride.
