Saturday 7th August 2010 - British Dressage Competition at Midfield Farm Stud Farm, Gaisgill, Nr Tebay CA10 3UH

Class 1: Introductory Test 1b; Class 2: Prelim test 18; Class 3 Novice test 25

Entrance fee £15 for first class (per horse/rider combination) and £10 per subsequent class.  Entrace fee includes tea, coffee and biscuits, a small charge will be made for other visitors.

There will be a demonstration of the gaits of the Icelandic Horse between classes 2 and 3.

Saturday 7 August 2010 - Charity Ride in Aid of 'Help the Heroes'     11 am start.
A marked route along bridleways, roads and through woods crossing a ford.  Parking in field Dallow Gill, Kirkby Malzeard, Ripon, North Yorkshire HG4 3RH (check on google for field 54.140870, -1.682518)
£15.00 per horse booked in-advance.  £20.00 per horse on the day.  A rosette for every rider

Sunday 26th September 2010 - Discovering Saddleworth's Bridleways Fun Ride
Friezland Arena, Greenfield , OL3 7JA off Manchester Rd A635 (open to cyclists and horse riders) 
ROUTE: There will be a choice of 2 Circular Rides, both rides cover quiet lanes, rough tracks and sections of the Pennine Bridleway Network. Choose from a medium (18km) or a long (25km) ride; please take into account the fitness of your horse (or bike?).  9.30 am START. £2/entry including a rosette at the finish. No entries on the day. Sunday 17 October 2010 - NLBS Tack Sale -Hest Bank Village Hall from 11am
Just to let you all know - we are holding the wonderful North Lancs Bridleways Tack Sale again this October. All details will be posted nearer the event, but we thought you might like to know the date for your diaries. It will run along the same lines as always.  We can accommodate 25 tables inside the hall, any overspill can set up outside. Super homemade refreshments available. Loads and loads of great bargains. Our membership secretary will be on site with a display of some typical events and rides we hold throughout the year. TABLES MUST BE BOOKED BEFORE THE EVENT due to the popularity of this event.
